Portraiture is where I first experimented with photography. Discovering what goes into a shoot (the vision, styling, make up, location, lighting, editing etc) has been a whirlwind of learning. From spontaneous shoots with friends, adapting with what we have, to more structured shoots alongside a team, every shoot is completely different.

I’m beginning to delve deeper into building a portfolio which has brought me out of my comfort zone a little more. Generally I prefer to shoot using natural light, however I’ve been known to flirt with studio lights on special occasions…
